CONCRETE REPLACEMENT AND REPAIRS

Concrete is a very solid and durable material. The formwork that is made before casting has to be crafted with great precision and attention to details, while respecting structure and other parameters to be taken into account. The most important elements to consider are formwork alignment, the amount of reinforcing rods that are needed, measuring the strength of the concrete that’s going to be used (calculated in MPa) and establishing the duration of the cure.

The concrete formwork method

The formwork method consists of a temporary belt that’s designed to keep the cement in place during hardening. It is made during the very first step, before the liquid is poured. Grout injection comes next:  Cement infiltration inside walls and ceilings to fill the space that was created by the destruction of friable or poorly adhered concrete.

Resurfacing work

We use shotcrete as an alternative, when the concrete formwork method is inappropriate. This process allows superior resistance as well as excellent adhesion. Shotcrete is ideal for slope stabilization and tunnel wall cladding. It also works well for pool outlines, bridges, reservoirs, water pipes, etc.
